If you want to register talks you will have to buy a lisence from a dealer. Otherwise they can give you a 30 days evaluation code to try the software but after the 30 days you will go back to the demo again.
You can probaply get a 30 day lisence automatically by sending a text.
Just go to the nuance talks option from the main menu or press talks+menu and it will go in the talks menu strate away.
After that press key one and you will have some options. One of them is register sub menu. Go in there and one of the options probaply the first one is 30 day demo. Cellect that and it will ask you if you want to send a text to request one. Press yes and it will send it and hopefully you will get the 30 day demo one.
Good luck.

Well nikos. it didn't help. i don't even know how to restart talks on the phone. I was wondering how to get to the talks menu on the nokia 9300? it's different on a 60 series!

I don't know what else to suggest.
I find the manuals very good. Did you install talks on your own or did anyone helped you to do it? Maybe you can ask them to go in the talks menu and find the register option and go to the 30 day demo and request one for you. I will see in the manual if i can find a description of your phone keys and post it here. It might help.

I went through the list of phones that work with talks and i found the 9300.
This phone is in the symbian seriece 80 which means that this phone is a pda phone not just a mobile phone.
It's something like a mini computer with a qwerty keyboard, word prossesor etc.
I never seene one of these phones but i am asuming they must be much bbigger than the seriece 60 phones so most people on this site are more likely to have the seriece 60 phone not a PDA phone like you have.
But of the description i read it seams a good phone.

well nikos, it's cool as heck, but it's confusing, the stores i went had no series 60 phones. The only phone they sell that runs talks now is a 9300 or 9500! the 9300 is better! mind you the 9300 is not exactly a small phone! So there you go.

whoooooot. got talks going. Ik, now i can explain. there is no register menu on a series 80 phone as of yet. they have to email you the license number and you open the talks window and go to the license tab and type it in there. It's great. I appreciate the help! enablemart rules!
